Krewe de Canines is a fabulous non-profit organization nestled in the charming town of St. Francisville, Louisiana. Our mission? To support the West Feliciana Animal Humane Society, a haven for animals in need of love and care. This volunteer-run shelter is a beacon of hope for neglected, surrendered, and rescued animals, thanks to the dedicated folks who work tirelessly to ensure their well-being.

The West Feliciana Animal Humane Society is a no-kill shelter that relies on the kindness of supporters to keep their doors open. As a 501(c)(3) organization, every dollar counts in helping them continue their vital work.

Now, onto the fun stuff! Krewe de Canines is thrilled to announce our upcoming dog parade in the picturesque Town of Saint Francisville. Our goal? To raise funds for local animal rescue while having a blast with our furry friends and fellow animal lovers. The parade will feature on-site dog adoptions, exciting activities, and a whole lot of tail-wagging fun. Best of all, it's free for all to attend, so grab your family (both two-legged and four-legged) and join in the festivities! There is a $25 registration fee for all participants in the parade and contest festivities. We are even offering a $10 stuffed animal contest as part of our Parade festivities for those who don't have a furry friend but still want to participate.

Calling all dog owners and their fabulous fur babies! Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 22nd, as we transform Parker Park into a canine art gallery for our First Canine parade, themed "Rolling on the River." Get those creative juices flowing and dress up your pups in their most paw-some costumes and decorations for a chance to win fantastic prizes.

So, leash up your pooch, grab your walking shoes, and get ready to strut your stuff at the most bark-tastic event of the year. We can't wait to see you and your furry companions at the parade!
