Hitting With Power
Hitting the ball for power is one of the more desirable traits for any hitter and one that will grab a scout’s attention. In order to hit for power, a hitter needs outstanding bat speed. Bat speed produces distance and all outstanding hitters have it. A hitter with major league power will regularly hit the ball over the fence in batting practice and should be able to drive the ball over 400 feet.
